Purdue University
Purdue University is a coeducational, state-assisted system in Indiana. Founded in 1869 and named after benefactor John Purdue, Purdue is one of the nation's leading research institutions with a reputation for excellent and affordable education. The West Lafayette campus offers more than 200 majors for undergraduates, over 70 master's and doctoral programs, and professional degrees in pharmacy and veterinary medicine. In addition, Purdue supports 18 intercollegiate sports teams and more than 850 student organizations.
DiaGrid resources are provided by the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing (RCAC), a research computing center at the Purdue West Lafayette campus. RCAC is the research arm of ITaP, the Information Technology at Purdue organization. RCAC provides advanced computational resources and services to support Purdue faculty and staff researchers. RCAC also conducts its own research and development to enhance the capabilities of these resources.
