University of Wisconsin
Founded in 1848, the University of Wisconsin–Madison is a public, land-grant university with an enrollment of about 42,000 students on a 935-acre campus in Madison, Wisconsin. The University of Wisconsin–Madison awards degrees in numerous undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral programs. The University of Wisconsin–Madison is also a preeminent research institution, and ranked 2nd nationally among all public universities for research expenditures.
